"
In my opinion, no one in the medical profession has reached infinity of thought. No one can claim authority over another's right to heal. By using herbs to heal, the very plants we walk alongside on the earth, we not only create empowerment within ourselves, but also identify and connect with dis-ease, allow it a swiffer passage for greater healing to be made".

What: Your Pages is an open-minded authentic platform for artistic expression.

Why: All those who create content for Your Pages are free to their own preferences regardless of sex, religion, race, orientation or personal beliefs. There will be no tolerance of ignorance or persecution of personal beliefs and practices. This is not a place for any kind of toxic attitude. Rather a place for all those who enjoy the beauty in life and the random but original niches that create the world that we live in.

How: There is a new topic every month and on the first Tuesday of each month my team and I will introduce this topic by interpreting what the topic means to us with personal, and real-world examples. Then, every other following Tuesday (dependent on how many submissions) the issue will be filled with all of your work! As our audience, we want to see what you can do, and how you interpret each topic.

Recently, my hard drive crashed. Unfortunately, I didn’t save my most recent work to my external hard drive so when it happened, I knew I had lost some very precious work. Although that sucked, a lot, I couldn’t help but to lean back and reflect on what had just happened. Yes, I had just lost a lot of my life’s work; some writing I’ll never be able to recover, some photographs I hadn’t quite acquire the motivation to edit, phone pictures and videos that I had of my friends and I, my world travels..I caught myself getting lost in the sorrow, so I turned that sorrow into a light of inspiration and acknowledged that YES, I did lose a lot of work. But that’s NOT all that is out there, I am NOT what I had lost. You see, often times we forget that there’s this whole entire earth that we live on where there are endless sights to see and endless rolls of films to be snapped. Losing a chunk of my life’s work really grounded me into a space of patience and realization, even new inspiration.

I am grateful for the beauty of all of nature’s depths that I have been and will continue to be exposed to. I am grateful for backcountry roads that never seem to end and have adventure around every curve. I am grateful for the photos that I DO have, the ones I saved and have framed over the years, and I promise to myself that I will continue to frame my own work to display somewhere other than a social media platform.

Nature is truly one of life’s biggest inspirations. Here’s a little photo dump of some old and new work that I recovered and have reflected on the past couple weeks. This was definitely a huge bummer for my creative self at first, but I am coming out of this set back with my head high. With film stacked in my drawers and a camera always on my person, I am anxiously anticipating the shift of seasons so new memories may soon be crafted.

What is this column all about?

-Essentially, I, Anonymia, want to answer the questions that cloud your mind. I am in no way an absolute expert in any field but have endured many hardships in my life and feel that through my experiences I can share some wisdom. Now, don’t think this is solely for the heart-wrenching questions that make you contemplate many aspects of your life. But an option to ask questions without fear of repercussions. I can’t guarantee I will answer all questions but will do my best.

-How do you jump start your motivation?

I usually plan my day out the night before. At least some kind of a rough draft of a plan. I decide on the major things I need to get done that day and plan my day out accordingly. Honestly, getting up and doing some kind of workout, either yoga, kaletiseics or some kind of movement to wake myself up also helps get my day moving.

-How do you balance your life inside and outside of work?

I make sure to keep my life and work in a equal balance. With the career I have picked is a major influence on my personal life. The most important thing to do is make sure your work and personal lives are separate in a sense that they each are important but also can coincide.

Ask your questions on Instagram or Twitter by either commenting on an Anonymia post by one of the teams profiles, using the #ASKSPYP or by submitting a question below questions can be anonymous!
