March's Take Away
Over the month of March, I have explored many topics under the theme of women or topics relating to women. I was able to express a worry from my time working at gamestop, shoutout to all those potential gamer girls who are wanting to break into the world of gaming, you got this and I am down to game any time. I found a hashtag that had more meaning in 10 symbols than thousand-word essays, #Planet5050. I talked about the top six women I look up to, Jessica Lange, Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (Lady Gaga), Sarah Paulson, Ashley Nicole Frangipane (Halsey). I found the empowerment of women so powerful I channeled into my poetry. I collaborated with a very smart, strong, and sweet vlogger, Ren Nixon. Which we defined and discussed what feminism meant to us, and how it influenced our lives. I also partnered with two amazing companies, Ridge, whose wallet is amazing and totally 10/10 recommend for those who want a sleek blocking wallet for outdoor activities. Then, also, Aidan's skin care who sell a single product for both men and women. Their creams are for both men and women to use for after tattoo aftercare, daily care, aromatherapy, breakouts, inflammation, dryness. I use the Coffee & Amber Cream every day after I wash my face in the morning! Then lastly I wrote about how I believe that you can love someone without having to marry them immediately. How I think the younger generations are ruining the sanctity of marriage for those who take love as seriously as it should be. Publicity proposals are a disease that needs to be wiped from this earth.
Thank you to everyone who joined me on this journey and I have learned so much and can’t wait to take on my next topic….. Vlogging! I know, I know how basic but trust me here. We move to Maine in two days and I want to take you all with me. The videos will come every Wednesday, and my reflection of making said video will be Friday. They will be about our trip to Maine and us exploring our new town for one month. For all of you, Stephen King fans out there, we are moving to Bangor. Which is the real world Derry (The infamous town from IT). I will be attending the University of Maine to learn from the King himself and obtaining my English degree. Thank you all and let the next adventure begin!
